Excerpts: October 2005: I've just come from an outdoor concert for "badge wearers only" featuring free booze, pizza and the Neville Brothers. What must Aaron Neville have thought looking from the stage over a sea of drunks in polyester suits? Actually, that's mean. Not everyone was in polyester. June 2004: We dumped the car yesterday without incident or fatalities. Phew. Funny thing, though. Now that I've driven through Edinburgh, Belfast and Glasgow, I've gotten pretty comfortable with the whole world-gone-mad experience of driving over here. May 2003: Things are weird here...after bringing us toast this morning at breakfast the hostess took our temperature. Under our arms. We're talking flesh contact. (Talk about full service.) September 2002: Then it was off to the North, just me, a map and a whole lot of roundabouts. Thinking about the odds of complete failure still haunts me but I figured out the route and made it North to the Midlands. August 2001: Ahhh, I love New York. (And I'm NOT just falling for a marketing slogan...I've always been cynical about that kind of thing. Even as a child, I knew that Coke didn't ACTUALLY "teach the world to sing.") You asked for it! We've put some of our commercials and videos online! Check it out here! Homestyle by-the-sea Homescapes,
