Spring is in fashion at Homescapes Carmel

So I'm leafing through Time magazine, catching up on the world at large while drinking coffee and keeping one eye on the Today show (i.e. my morning ritual) when something catches my eye. There was an article about John Galliano's latest collection being exhibited in Paris. He described it as "Christian Dior meeting Puccini's Madama Butterfly." And I thought, "wait a minute...that looks more like Cole River meeting Torre & Taugus, guest starring East of Eden." And really, maybe it's just me, but that Promised Land vase had to have been on John's mantle while he was "letting his wacky imagination soar."

Seriously, though, it seems like the Home Accessories world is catching up and in some cases leading the fashion world. After all, Homescapes' has been carrying some of these "Before-or-After?" items for a couple of years now.

We haven't tried the make-up yet, though. Well, at least not in public.
