Thompson serves on the Advisory Board for a locally-produced home magazine, HomeStyles-by-the-Sea, for which he writes the “Details” column highlighting trends and products offered at shops on the Monterey Peninsula. Thompson is also on the Retail Advisory Board for Home Accents Today and since 2001 has appeared in the “You asked…We answered” column for Gifts and Decorative Accessories Magazine.
