"Odds" on favorite!

Now we're 2 for 4! Woo hoo! Until this year, we'd lost more than we'd won at the annual Carmel Chamber of Commerce business awards dinner. While it's true that it's an honor to be nominated, obviously it's more fun to win. And win we did. The party was at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club on the 7th of December, and even with the torrential rains, the crowd came to have a good time. Bernardus and Chateau Julien wineries contributed to the "spirit" of the evening, and the dancing went on into the wee hours (at least it seemed that way to me since it was past my bedtime..though it was actually only about 10:00 when we called it a night).

So, good for us! Now there's a 50 percent certainty that we're one of Carmel's favorite stores!
