Homescapes Celebrates Seventh Anniversary
Brothers Thompson and Beau Lange and the staff of Homescapes, Carmel invite the community today as they celelbrate their seventh year of business in downtown Carmel.
The home furnishings business opened in 199 in the former Great Western Bank building at Seventh and Dolores, and since that time there have been frequent media reports of an imminent demolition of the building.
When the Lange brothers expanded their Pacific Grove retail business into the Carmel location, they were informed that the building's owner had intentions for a major renovation. The brothers decided the opportunity was worth the gamble to open a store int heir hometown, and even knowing of the building's eventual demolition, they have succeded in growing Homescapes into a successful enterprise.
