Stillwell's Snow in the Park, 2007

It's for the kids.... (okay, it's a little bit for us, too)

For the past 14 years Richard Stillwell has sponsored "Stillwell's Snow in the Park," held in Pacific Grove's Caledonia Park. Here on the Central Coast of California, we don't receive a regular supply of snow, so instead we have ours trucked in and sprayed out of an ice truck. Each year Beau and Thompson create a snowman for the small children, attempting to bring some of the magic that the colder climates enjoy in the Christmas season to our part of the world. The following photographs show Beau and Thompson building their man.
