"Ihave a great love and respect for the Gandharan Buddhist art period, 360 to 460 AD. Sculpture from this time period is thought to be the very first human representations of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama.

"I believe this was an extraordinary historical period on our planet and the Buddhist sculpture from Gandhara holds the memory of hte spirit from that time period. Great beings such as Siddhartha Gautama and Jesus of Nazareth had come and gone and left their mark on humanity and the powerful influence of Alexander the Great had set a course for art and culture."
