| The great artist Paul Cezanne once said, "Color
is the place where our spirit and the universe meet." His proclamation applies to all genre of paintings - landscape and still life included. In this exhibit I try to pay homage to Cezanne's observation. Most of these landscapes are inspired by scenes in nearby Carmel Valley and the central coast. The artist's vision is reflected in the floral still lifes. Each piece is intended to be a celebration of color to enhance the eye and spirit of the viewer.
